| Description: | Megger. Biddle Instruments 210900 Megger. For Loan Use only. Completely Disconnect motor from drive. Connect Black lead to motor/earth ground, Connect Red lead to one motor lead (1of the 3 with an AC motor, 1 of the 2 armature wires with a DC motor). Turn Megger on (switch to 500V, then hold switch to 200M) The display should show in the high meg ohms. On DC motor, check field (J,K) windings next. Next, short the Megger leads together, hold switch to 200M and confirm the display shows. 0 ohms (reality check that Megger is ok). Please promptly return Megger, packing carefully in our box. |
